Additional copies can be $5-$10 per additional copy. If you require a notary to travel to your location to certify a copy, additional travel fees will apply. Mobile notaries can meet clients at their homes, offices, hospitals, nursing homes, or any other agreed-upon location to notarize documents. The notary comes to you, which saves time and effort, especially in urgent situations or for individuals with limited mobility. We offer extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate clients schedules. Our mobile notaries can handle various notarizations needs, including real estate transactions, wills, powers of attorney, affidavits and more.  The cost of mobile notary services can vary, depending on several factors, including location, the distance travelled, the type of document, and the notaries fees. The main additional cost for mobile notary services is the travel fee. This fee compensates the notary for their time and transportation expenses. 

Document Preparation Services

Document preparation services refer to the assistance that a notary public or a notary related service provider offers on helping clients prepare legal or official documents before they are notarized. It’s important to note that notaries public generally do not offer legal advice, and their document preparation services are limited to ensuring that documents are complete and ready for notarization. If legal advice or complex legal documentation drafting is required, the client should seek assistance from a licensed attorney. Here’s what preparation services might include when provided by a notary or a related service: review of documents, ensuring that all necessary information is included, that the documents are filled out correctly, and that no sections are left incomplete. The cost of preparation services provided by or in association with a notary public can vary based on the complexity of the documents. For simple document review and assistance with completing forms the cost can range from $20-$50 per document.  For more complex documents such as real estate transactions or power of attorney forms the fee might be higher ranging from $50-$150 per document. If you require a notary to travel to your location, additional travel fees will apply. These can range from $25-$75 or more depending on the distance.  

Remote Online Notary Services

Remote online notary services allow notaries to perform notarizations using online secure, audio, visual technology. This service enables individuals to get their documents notarized without needing to be physically present with the notary, which can be especially convenient for those who are in different locations, have mobility issues, or simply prefer the convenience of online transactions. Remote online notary services involve the following key steps: identity verification the signers identity is verified through a combination of methods, including knowledge based authentication questions, and the presentation of government issued identification through the online platform. The notary and signer connect through a secure real time, video conference where the notary witnesses the signing of the document. The notary applies an electronic seal and digital signature to the document, certifying that it has been notarized. The notarized document is then securely transmitted to the signer.  Remote online notarization is legally recognized, and many US states, the regulations very, and it’s important to confirm whether remote on my notarization is permissible for your specific document and jurisdiction. Jurat and Oath Administration

Jurat and oath of affirmation are specific types of material acts that involve the notary administering an oath or affirmation to the signer, ensuring the truthfulness of the statements made in the document. These acts are commonly used and legal proceedings and official documents, where the accuracy and truthfulness of the information are critical.  During the process the notary will ask the signer to swear, or affirm that the statements and the document are true. The notary then witnesses the signing of the document. The cost of performing  or administering an oath of affirmation can vary based on the location in the notaries fees.  The fees can range from $25-$75 or more depending on the distance and time involved. 

Proctoring Services

Proctoring services provided by a notary public involve the notary acting as an impartial overseer for exams or tests to ensure that they are conducted fairly, and according to established rules. In this role, the notary public serves as a proctor or exam supervisor, verifying the identity of the test taker, monitoring the exam environment, and ensuring that no cheating or irregularities occur during the test. Proctoring services are often billed on an hourly basis with rates typically ranging from $50-$75 per hour. The total cost will depend on the length of the exam. Flat fees can be offered depending on the complexity and duration of the exam. If the notary needs to travel to a specific location outside of the provided service additional travel fees may be applied.

Examples of audit support include notarizing financial statements, compliance documents, and witnessing the signing of declarations related to compliance. The cost of these services vairies typically ranging from $20-$50 per document to $150 per hour for more complex tasks.  The support is essential for preventing fraud, ensuring that audit findings are based on genuine evidence, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly, and highly regulated industries. 

Deposition Services

During deposition services, a notary public plays a vital role by administering oats to witnesses and ensuring their testimony is given under penalty of perjury. The notary may also witness the signing of the deposition transcript, authenticating it as an accurate record of what was said. In some cases, especially when the notary is also a certified court reporter, they might be involved in recording and preparing the deposition transcript. This service is particularly convenient for individuals or organizations that require fingerprinting, but cannot easily visit a fingerprinting office. The technician uses either ink and roll or digital fingerprinting methods to capture the prints, depending on the requirements of the agency requesting the fingerprints. The cost for fingerprinting services typically ranges from $50-$150. This fee usually covers the technicians travel to your location and the fingerprinting of one individual. If multiple fingerprint cards are required there may be an additional charge usually ranging from $10-$30 per card. For organizations or groups requiring fingerprinting for several individuals, discounts may be available, reducing the per person cost.  There may be extra charges for expedited services, remote locations, or specific fingerprinting requirements. Mobile fingerprinting offers the convenience of on-site service, saving time and hassle, especially for businesses or individuals with busy schedules or mobility challenges.
